MYSA’s Intramural Program gives 2nd–4th graders the chance to grow their skills, play alongside friends, and enjoy the game in a fun, competitive, and community-centered environment.

Intramural Soccer

Intramural soccer is the heart of MYSA’s youth experience—it’s where players take the next step after the K–1 Clinic, learn the joy of being on a team, and discover what it means to compete with confidence. These leagues are designed to be local, supportive, and full of fun—perfect for players in Grades 2, 3, and 4.

Fall 2025 Season

  • Kicks off Saturday, September 6 and runs for 8 straight weeks.

  • Wraps up with our always-exciting Round Robin Tournament on November 1.

  • No games over Indigenous Peoples’ / Columbus Day weekend (October 11)—because even soccer players deserve a fall holiday!

How It Works in the Fall:

  • Grade 2 League (Boys & Girls): One weekday practice (Tuesday or Thursday) + Saturday afternoon games against other Marblehead teams. It’s the perfect balance of structure and fun.

  • Grade 3/4 League (Boys & Girls): Two weekday practices + one weekend game. Players start to experience a faster pace while still enjoying a community feel.

  • Game Times: Grade 2 (Boys & Girls) and Grade 3/4 Boys games are held on Saturday afternoons.

Travel Transition Tip: Grade 4 players should join the Spring Travel Evaluations to be placed on a Travel team for the fall. Not ready for Travel? No problem—Grade 4 players can stick with Intramurals and play alongside 3rd graders.

Spring Season

  • Runs for 8 weeks over a 10-week stretch, with breaks around Easter and Memorial Day.

  • Combines Grades 2, 3, and 4 into one Intramural program, keeping things fun and flexible.

  • Grade 4 Options: Players may join Travel (with prior evaluation) and/or play Intramurals.

  • Grades 5 and up: From this point forward, it’s all Travel.
