Marblehead Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) is the town’s largest youth sports organization, serving over 900 players each season from Kindergarten through High School. Entirely volunteer-run, MYSA is committed to fostering a lifelong love of soccer and a strong sense of community through quality coaching, positive sportsmanship, and inclusive programming for all levels of play.

The Volunteers That Make It All Possible
Your athlete’s season is powered by the hard work of our volunteer community. From Age & Gender Coordinators (AGCs) to on-field coaches, these dedicated parents and neighbors keep MYSA running, season after season. Their efforts ensure that every player has a team, a coach, and a positive experience on the field.
Age & Gender Coordinators (AGCs)
Each MYSA age group is supported by an Age & Gender Coordinator (AGC) – a dedicated volunteer (sometimes two) who helps keep the season organized and enjoyable for their grade and division.
What AGCs Do
- Coordinate team formation
- Recruit and support coaches
- Assist with season scheduling
- Act as a player advocate for their cohort
- Facilitate communication between families, coaching volunteers, and MYSA leadership
We often use shorthand like G1G (Grade 1 Girls) or G2B (Grade 2 Boys) when referring to these roles in communications.
