Marblehead Youth Soccer Association is excited to welcome Tim Keeney and Hugh Gallagher to the MYSA Board of Directors as they step into two important leadership roles supporting our players, coaches, and families.
Tim Keeney – Vice President, Travel Director
Tim has accepted the role of Vice President, Travel Director, where he will oversee the administration and operation of MYSA’s Travel Program. As the primary liaison with the Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA), Tim will work closely with coaches, families, volunteers, and league officials to ensure a positive and organized experience for every travel team.
Tim brings a passion for youth soccer, a commitment to player development, and a willingness to tackle the many moving pieces that make our Travel Program successful. From registration and team formation to league coordination and coach support, he’ll play a key role in helping our athletes thrive both on and off the field.
Hugh Gallagher – Vice President, Risk Manager
We are also pleased to welcome Hugh Gallagher as Vice President, Risk Manager.
In this role, Hugh will help ensure MYSA continues to provide a safe, compliant, and well-supported environment for everyone involved in our programs. He will oversee coach credentialing, SafeSport compliance, CORI verification, and other risk management responsibilities required through Massachusetts Youth Soccer, while helping strengthen our organization’s commitment to player safety and operational excellence.
Hugh’s thoughtful approach and desire to serve the soccer community make him an outstanding addition to the Board, and we look forward to the perspective and leadership he’ll bring.
